Slicer interaction with visualizations (show highlight)

I have made a slicer with the years 2016,2017 and 2018. For example, if I select the year 2018, I want to see the total (total value 2016,2017,2018) and that of 2018 in the same column chart. If I go to the format and click the slicer and then edit interactions then I get no option with highlights but only filter. If i select a pie chart than i can see the option with highlights on the visualization chart.

I want to do this with the slicer (years), can someone help me?

Hi @mustafa21,

AFAIK, normal slicer not support highlight feature, maybe you can submit an idea for this requirement.
In addition, you can also try to use custom visual chiclet slicer, it seems like support highlight.
