Slicer date picker not showing all available years

Kidly assist.  I have the following date picker in my slicer.

When i click on the first date i get the following with dates showing form 1993 to 2013:

 

When i click on the year to select the year, the date picker only shows dates from 1993 to 2013 as mentioned above.  When i click and choose the year 2013 and close the date picker and click on the date again, the other years show as follows:

Why is the date picker not showing all the years in the range at once.

HI @Chitemerere,

I think it should more relate to the default design/settings of the slicer date picker. If you want to display more year ranges, you can use custom visuals that override this picker or submit an idea about improving the slicer date picker.

10 above and 10 below, because of the available real estate. You can reduce the calendar dates if you do not have that much data in the past.

I assume it is because of screen real estate.
