Slicer Type

Hi,

Why do I have just 2 options for Slicer settings. Ideally, we have Tile option as well.

Hello @MalvikaBhasin 

The reason of SLicer options depends on the fields that you have selected in the fields. FOr your case you have selected a Hierarchy in the slicer and that is the reason you can see only 2 options and not the tile. The tile option is dependednt on the values that you have in the fields.

Try having only month/day/year/quarter rather than Hierarchy and the tile option should come. Have only one field in the slicer field.

@MalvikaBhasin the available options for the slicer type depend on the data type of the field for the slicer. if it is a datefield and you selected date hierarchy then there are only dropdown and vertical list available. so, as @bhanu_gautam suggested check the type of the datafield.

@MalvikaBhasin ,It looks like you are checking it for any date column as screenshot is not complete but Quarter ,month, Day please check data type of column it should be date for more slicer type

Thank you Bhanu Gautam. My concern is shouldn't TILE as an option appear under style appear?
