Slicer Showing First Earliest instead of Selected or Most Current

I have a slicer that shows first the earliest period (Jan 2022) available instead of showing first The most current or selected period (for example Jan 2023).

I do not want to limit the slicer to show only currents (the report should show 2022 data). But I want to be able to see the selected period first instead of having to scroll all the way to the right to find the selected period.

Is it possible to establish the selected period as the first shown without having to limit it to the current year?
