Slicer Issue

I have 2 excel files. (Both are .xlsx)

ONe file contains all pivot tables and charts and the another files contains "source data".

Now I am trying to creat slicer in my first file (where the tables and charts are). But the options are fade.

can't find the reason and solution.

Hi @Anonymous,

How did you create the slicer? Could you post some screenshots on it?

In addition, here is an article about creating a standalone slicer and creating a slicer in an existing PivotTable for your reference. Smiley Happy
