Slicer Eraser Disappearing

Hi there,   I have a slicer that has worked fine in the past, but today for some reason the Clear Selections eraser has disappeared and now I can't clear the slicer. I have seen in other posts that...

Fowmy  , I did that but it still won't show back up, is there anything else that might work?

Cannot figure it out  without seeing the file.
Why don't you delete and insert a new one?
