Slicer Drop Down Publishing Issue
Hi,
I have a dashboard which has a Slicer (Drop down), and inside the Desktop App it is filtered to 'All'. But when I publish this document it selects a field within my drop down (filtering it when you load it up). This is frustrating as it does not show the full dataset when you load into it.
I've tried deleting the drop down and re-adding it, selecting a field within the drop down and re-publishing. But it still comes out the same. The report will update any other changes, just not the drop down when you open it up.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
The solution was to remove the dashboard from 'my workspace', and republish the file.

klf it is weird, do you have any persistent filter, when you open the report in service, can you clear reset to default and then test?

Hi klf ,
According to your description, do you have other filters that affect the reports you create locally or create bookmarks, etc. These filters will work after publishing the report.

I found out in my case that I had to update the Bookmark. Whenever I went back using bookmarks to the page where it was the Slicer (single select), it returned to the previous configuration (multiple selection). When I used the Tabs to navigate, the configuration of Single Select remained intact. So this was it in my case, I had to go to each bookmark and update it. Seems to me that the Bookmark saves not only the page or location where you are, but also some configurations/filters.
