I'm trying to achieve the below type of visualization in Power BI. It is basically a "stacked column chart". I realize I can add this dimension to the Legend but then I have to manually adjust the colors of EVERY value to be the same. I also need to change the boundary color of these column stacks to distinguish the segments.
@Anonymous I think you are asking for too much of customization. It may require manual effort to change the color of each legend and border. You may try using some custom visual as well see if that helps you.

Maybe so. But I have designed dashboards where this type of viz was a big hit with executives. It is very basic - just splitting up the marks by a further level of detail without forcing the level of detail to be a viz attribute such as color, etc. It is disappointing to know that Power BI struggles with the simpler things but it is also great to know they over-achieve on the complex things.
