Hey all,
Is it possible to slice/filter a table in power bi with multiple values from the same column.
Example
Person | Awards |
A | 1 |
A | 4 |
A | 5 |
A | 7 |
A | 8 |
B | 2 |
B | 3 |
B | 4 |
C | 2 |
Above is similar to the data I have, I'm trying to filter a table that has 'person' with a slicer that has the awards. However I'm trying to filter with multiple awards (multi-select) and it is giving the wrong values. For example I am slicing awards 2 and 4 and the table is giving me person A, B, and C. What I want it to do is filter the person that has both award 2 and 4, which should give only person B.
If I could get any help on this that would be great.
Let me know if you need any more information.
Thanks
Nathan

Hey,
Thank you for your help this has worked amazing.
I have came across a slight propblem, becasue of the filter 'flag' on the table it seems I can't slice the table with any other data.
Is there a way around this?
Thanks
Nathan
what do you mean, I don't understand
explain in detail
I have 2 slicers one is the awards slicer and the other for example is a location slicer, but the location slicer can't filter the Person and Awards table. Is there a way to allow the Location slicer and any other slicers I may have filter the Person and Awards table?
post an example so I can help you
and show the expected result
