I have a report that uses a Folder input (containing XML files), however - due to unknown reasons - some of these XML files are corrupt and get an error (see my other post for that). While I'm working on finding the root cause for that error, I was wondering if there is a way to simply skip these files instead of stopping the whole data refresh?
Thank you!
Hi, @tpmobley ;
this issue can be caused by multiple reasons, you can have a check:
Core excel > 30MB
Excel has password
Permission issue
Corrupted model
Wrong type, error format, value issue, etc.
If you still have a problem, you can try these steps to find if they can be useful:
First, make sure the PBI desktop is the latest version.
Then please delete the data source (File -> Options and Settings -> Data Source Settings) and reconnect to see if it works.
Please make sure all permission and credentials are correct.
