Simple KPI
Hello,
Everything I can see about KPI's seems to assess trend over time. I just want a simple +/- based on 2 figures:
eg.
2019 Sales = £1,000
2020 Sales = £1,100
Indicator = Green upwards arrow, ideally showing +£100 and/or +10%
Does this exist?
Many tahnks,
Mike

Yes. You can use conditional formatting and/or icon sets. Please see this post - https://powerbi.tips/2019/07/icons-upon-icons/
Also, you can also add icons as text in your measure outputs by holding the Windows key and "." (or ";") and concatenating it with your result. In your case you can use an IF() to have two outcomes each with a different icon.
If this works for you, please mark it as the solution. Kudos are appreciated too. Please let me know if not.
Regards,
Pat

Thanks all, but the conditional formatting fucntion only works when comparing data within a column.
I am looking to produce a row such as the example below:
2020 2019 KPI/variance analysis
Sales £1,100 / £1,000 / +£100/+10% green arrow indicator
