I have a cost table with a calculated Total Cost and Total Cost YTD measures
Total Cost = SUM(CostsTable[Amount])
Total Cost YTD = TOTALYTD([Total Cost], Calendar[Date] )
In the report, I put a filter by selecting a year (from the calendar table)
I also have a table of departments where I have created a calculated column:
Ranking =
VAR RK1 = RANKX(ALL(Departaments), [Total Cost],,DESC)
RETURN
IF (RK1 < 5, Departaments[Departament], "Others")
The problem is when creating the same calculated column for YTD
Ranking YTD =
VAR RK1 = RANKX(ALL(Departaments), [Total Cost YTD],,DESC)
RETURN
IF (RK1 < 5, Departaments[Departament], "Others")
In this case, it does not work

Hi, @RogerT ,
I'm sorry I can't reproduce your data model for testing and solutions.
If the above one can't help you get the desired result, please provide some sample data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.
