Show specifics pages with Page Navigator

Hello,

I need to display specific pages in my Page Navigation button. I have 9 pages and only 7 should be available to the user. The other 3 should be hidden and will be used for drillthrough.

The only option I have found is to enable the Show/Hide Hidden Pages option in the Format Navigator pane. Unfortunately, this option shows all hidden pages. Is there a way to display the specific pages?

Hi @Pat_007

you are right, for page navigator you only have the option which you descibed. BUT there is a workaround to achieve your goal by using the bookmark navigation.

I go on the pages I want to have an create a bookmark. When the bookmark is created you can rename it. No comes the important part. After you created the bookmark please click on the 3 dots next to the bookmark name and deselect the data option like in the picuter below.

By that you make sure that you do not save existing filter. you only save that this bookmark guides you to the intended page. After you created the bookmarks for each apge you need you can create a bookmark navigator.

After you created the first bookmark navigator you can copy it to the other pages and voila, you can switch between the pages like in my example:

The order of the bookmarks in the navigator is defined by the order in the bookmarks pane

If you already use bookmarks for other stuff, you can deselect bookmarks for the navigator in the format options.

Best regards

Hi,

You can solve this problem deselecting the pages you do not want to show in the page options of page navigator.

See below
