Hi Guys,
I have a simple report quotes.pbix, what I am trying to do is allow a user to select a month from a slicer and then display that month and the same month from the previous year on a chart. If a user selects 2022-Jan, the chart should display 2022-Jan and 2021-Jan, I am struggling with this. My date table isn't standard and is based on financial months
@JimJim , if you have date and date table, time intelligence should be able to help
example measures
MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))
last year MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH)))
Previous year Month Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),previousmonth(dateadd('Date'[Date],-11,MONTH)))
last year MTD (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH))))
or training measures
Month behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Month))
Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year))

Hi @amitchandak , I was able to write separate measures that will show me both current month values and same month previous year values separately, the issue I have is that I can't drop separate measures onto my chart, it only allows one measure
