Show only certain column subtotals in Matrix
Hi Anonymous ,
Looking at the information you have on your matrix values believe that the best option is to pass the columns where you don't wan't the subtotal for the rows part and then turn off the steped layout and then format the subtotal at the first column only.
Another option to keep the format as you have is to make a format of the field formatting for each of the columns with background and font colour as white and apply to subtotal then do the condittional formatting of the font colour black. This will give you the column as you need. If you want to have the alternate colour background this may imply to make a measure to make the condittional formatting of the background.

Thanks MFelix I appreciate the suggestions! I went with the second approach and below is the end result. This feels like a hack as this is easily done in SSRS, wish it was a simpler thing in Power BI.
