I've created a field YYYY-MM, by valuing several date fields with format, Datatype-Date/Format-2001-03(yyyy-mm), showing like this:
when I refer to the field in Report, I get the below view:
How do I format it? to show it like: YYYY-MM

Your date is showing as hierarchy, you can select your date column instead of date hierarchy from value pane section.
