Show Value as Pct Of Row Total - Export Format
Hi ,
I have a table with values categories , and sub categories
I need to show , for each category, a matrix of the sum of sub category values ("Balance"), and a percentage value of the subcategory as as percentage of the entire category.
I was able to accomplish this via the "Show Value as Pct Of Row Total" feature. This correctly shows , for each category, a set of columns with the SubCategory values , and the Pct of the Subcategory of the total Category.
The problem is that while the Matrix visual displays the value correctly as a pct, when we export the data to Excel, it is not formatted in excel correctly as a Percentage.
Is there any way to control the formating of a "Show Value as Pct Of Row Total" column so that the Export to excel is formatted the same as the Visual? All other cases where we have measure or columns, the export to excel respects the measure/column formatting in the report.

This is because the export function in desktop focuses mainly on the underlying data. You could try publishing to a service and then exporting current layout.

Anonymous maybe add a measure to show the % of the total instead of using show value as, although it should work.
