Hello everybody,
I have a spreadsheet as placed below with item demands. I have an item identification number, the demand for the item, and the demand date.
I created the "Total Demand in March" column to add up all the demand for an item in a march, as the demands are separated by dates.
However, Power BI puts the result of the sum in all lines, I need to put it in only one, to perform other calculations in other columns involving this result. Could you help me, please? How do I show the result in just one line of the item in the month?
| Item ID | Demand | Demand Date | Total Demand in March |
| 123 | 5 | 2023-03-15 | 9 |
| 123 | 1 | 2023-03-20 | 9 |
| 123 | 1 | 2023-03-10 | 9 |
| 123 | 2 | 2023-03-22 | 9 |
Thank you very much for your help!

@Matthew_BR , Make sure you are using a measure like
calculate( Sum(Table[Demand]), filter( Table , eomonth(Table[Demand date],0) = date(2023,03,31) ) )
Or join with take and use a slicer
