Imagine you have published a report to power BI services, and then you have scheduled the dataset to be refreshed. How can you make your report to be filtered always on the last available date after a refresh.?
It means that you want your report to show always according to the last date available in your data.
It is explained here:
- add a text column that replaces each date with its text equivalent, except for the max date which you label "Latest"
- use a filter against this column. Set its value to "Latest"
- publish your PBIX
- make sure your import mode dataset is refreshed daily.
