Sharing a date table across different projects

Good morning,   I was wondering if it is possible to share a date table I created in a Power BI project with another project I have started.  I am new to Power BI so apologies if this is a very obv...

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    What I mean is, if your source is a database like SQL, MYSQL, ORACLE you can ask team to create a date dimension (confirmed dimension) table, which you can use it accross in all power bi applications. Else you need to create a date table every time you create new app.

Hi Pavan Anonymous, many thanks for taking the time to get back to me.

 

What do you mean when you say "...you can create a dimension table in the data source like sql".   Please forgive my ignorance, I am very new to Power BI and I am not sure what a dimesion table is.
