Hi,
I have a field in SharePoint (say Title for instance) which is linked to the edit function. So in SharePoint, you click this and of course, the row of that item opens and you then edit the item.
However, when I connect PowerBI to SharePoint, I have opened up the various expandable tables etc, looking for the column title, which contains the hyperlink, but cannot find it? i.e. on the basis, that I can set it as a hyperlink using the data category etc.....
Surely this is possible? I am then publising to a dashboard, so that users can then go to it, see an item and click to the item.....Any tips? I can only find threads on adding hyperlinks to the dashboard page itself.....thanks
Hi @Anonymous ,
How about changing the data category to Web URL in Modeling?
As a workaround, I have added a custom calc column called URL.
Then added
"https://bombardierinc.sharepoint.com/teams/IFIR-B4DCK4/Lists/Doors%20UK%20OIL/DispForm.aspx?ID="
Then added &[NewID] to form
In PBI modelling I set as a hyperlink, then set values as display Icon.
Technically this is working, but ideally, there are some fields such as Title Or MasterRef that I would like to ember the URL into, so that I dont have so many columns visible. Anyway to do this?
