There may be a fairly simple solution to this problem I am having but I cannot for the life of me figure out. My company wants to host our expense excel documents within the company sharepoint sphome.Ourcompany, com I have the path for the folder that holds each monthly report but it won't grant me access to view those files. While it seems like an issue with my permissions... I had an administrator log in with their credentials and it still denied access to the folders. Additionally, our sharepoint hosts hundreds of documents and I only want one folder.
I tried copying the address text as suggested from other text but it just gives me an error.
What is the proper way to get this set up. Eventually once the dashboard is completely I would also like to embed it within sharepoint
What do you think it is?
Thank you

Check out my blog: Power BI em PortuguêsHi Felix, This is a great article; however, my problem is with the credentials. No matter what credentials I use I cannot get in. This is what happens when I try selecting microsoft account,
(Excuse my black out, my mouse is really messed up and it moves on its own. no fun.)
Hi @Anonymous ,
Are you placing the root sharepoint on the link or the folder file?
If you look at the blog post they are linking to https://powerbipanama.sharepoint.com/sites/externalsales so this is the address that you have to place on the pop-up that appears and on the password you should have the option Organizational Account wich doesn't appear on your print screen.
When you select the password there is a selection where you can define to what level you want to have the password folder (external sales in this case) or sharepoint root you should select the root.

Hi @Anonymous ,
When I made the link to sharepoints folders I got similar errors but they were because not connected to the lowest level of the document library so something like the put in the post.
If you post a screenshot of the first part of the connection trough private messate maybe I can help a little bit further.
Another option is to play around with the address that you place on the first popup for sharepoint folders.
