Sharepoint data issue

Hi to all,

I experience some issue with the date trying to import some data from a sharepoint list.

This is the situation: I've created a report in power bi that used the data of a simple sharepoint list.

The data are organized in this way:

Kpi - date - value

The problem is that when I upload the data in power bi, all the date are uploaded with a +1

(eg: date in sharepoint list: 18/06 > date in power bi: 19/06).

I check the correct time in the settings of my pc and in the pc of the other user that insert the data in sharepoint; I also checked the correct time zone in the site of sharepoint, but it's all correctly settled.

How can I resolve?

Thanks in advance!

Strange. But you are not the first to experience it, there might be some pointers for you in this thread:

Hi @elmer ,

there are quite a few automatically updated date fields in a sharepoint list. Are you sure you are using the correct date field?

Cheers,
Sturla

hi @sturlaws

Thanks for your reply!

I'm using the generic data field (the one that requires a manual insertion from a calendar) not a field that was automatically filled out by the system (like date of creation, etc...).

I am not able to reproduce this behaviour when importing data from a sharepoint online list.

Could you post some screenshots of what your data looks like, both in sharepoint and in power query?

Hi @sturlaws ,

here's some screeshot (I've got the italian version). In the sharepoint list the date is correct (I've tried the "automatically fill current date" option and it works), but in power bi it adds 1 day.
