Sharepoint connection internal server error

Hi Community.

Please, can you help me with the next issue?

I'm working with a model that contains an excel file i share with collegues to update the info. The excel is sync on onedrive/sharepoint and i'm traying to connect to it from Power Bi desktop.

To connect to sharepoint FILE i use the URL. 

https://company-my.sharepoint.com/personal/my_person/

I checked that my organizations credentials are rigth, i´m logged into 365 from power BI.

It just keep showing me the next error: 

UNABLE TO CONNECT.

Details: "Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'https://MYCOMPANY-my.sharepoint.com/personal/MY_PERSON/_api/web/lists/getbyid('40ca0968-4afb-4b0e-b8...' (500): Internal Server Error"

I had looked into all solutions i could find on the internet about this issue with no luck so far.

Please, what can i do? i had tried several things. Got the latest Power BI desktop version thinking it migth be the cause ( in an early version i had no problem connecting once ).

To connect to Excel stored in OneDrive for business, please get web url following the guide in this article.

To connect to SharePoint online Excel, please enter the following URL in web connector of Power BI Desktop.

https://XXX.sharepoint.com/sites/XXX/Shared%20%Documents/yourfolder/excelname.xlsx

To connect to sharepoint folder in Power BI Desktop, please get root url of your SharePoint site and enter the URL in SharePoint Folder connector, see https://powerbi.tips/2016/09/loading-excel-files-from-sharepoint/.
