Sharepoint - Unable to connect error

    If you are connecting to a single file, the easiest way to swap from desktop to SP is to copy the path for the file, not using the root site/folder connector. There's like 9 ways to get a link to a SP file, and only one of them will be the correct path - you want the one in the "more details" of the file properties. Hi Anonymous , 

The link should have an ?SOMETHING at the end you need to delete everything after that ? and should work.

    Thanks but I tried that but it did not work.

    When I use the base url abc.sharepoint.com it connects but I just see this

    instead of a list of folders/files.......how can I navigate to the folder which contains the Excel file I need ?
