Sharepoint People Picker converting to ID

Hey!
One way would be to use Query editor to specify the data type you want for 'people picker.'
I'm not sure how you get the data into power bi (pbi), but you can use the query editor during initial import or after the data has been imported.
Access it here when initially loading data into pbi:
You can also access the query editor by clicking the button at the top (if the data has already been loaded into pbi):
Once you have accessed the query editor, you can specify the column, and then specify the data type. Here is what that looks like:
Community ChampionChances are that you already have a "Changed Type" step in the applied steps in your query.
You might want to adjust the formula for that step (in the formula bar) and replace "Int64.Type" to "type text" for the applicable columns.
This way e.g. any leading zeroes will be kept.
These would be lost if the data is first changed to number and back to text in some subsequent step.
