Sharepoint Data Source Refresh using Data Gateway ( personal Mode)
Hi All,
I created a Report using the SharePoint data source Connector in Power BI .
The report is built and published.
I also installed the Data Gateway ( Personal Mode) to schedule a data refresh for this Sharepoint report dataSet.
I couldn't able to see the Personal Mode Data Gateway as part of my Manage Gateway.
Is there any other way we can use the Schedule refresh for the SharePoint Report.
Thanks,
Anil

anilp,
Firstly, do you connect to SharePoint Online in Power BI Desktop? If so, after you publish PBIX file to Power BI Service and schedule refresh for your dataset, gateway is not required.
Secondly, please note that only when you install on-premises gateway and configure it, the gateway will appear in Manage Gateway. When you install on-premises gateway(personal mode), the gateway will not display in Manage gateway. If you connect to on-premises SharePoint in your dataset, and want to use on-premises gateway(personal mode) to refresh the dataset, directly go to Settings ->Datasets and find your dataset in Power BI Service, enter credential for the SharePoint data source, this way, you will be able to set schedule refresh for the dataset.

Lydia
