SharePoint person or group column returns empty values (blank)

Hi, 

I have an issue with SharePoint online 2.0 connection. 

The column is returned as (blank), although there are entries in SharePoint. 

This is notices simply by establishing connection, no PowerQueries were made, or any changes to the data. 

Any ideas?

Hi, 

Access to sharepoint is fine, as all other 20 columns are loading. 

The background data settings are configured to Allow data previews to download in the background according to each file's setting.

Please check the applied steps of the column and remove the 'changed type' step.

there's no changed type applied, this happens even with a fresh connection to SP with no changes in data.

@nikolanenadovic , In the power query, do you see any error? open and check for that column or any message on the top of the table for data type issue or something like that

@amitchandak No errors are shown, no issues whatsoever. 

I tried with a fresh powerbi connection to sharepoint online v2.0 and a fresh report, nothing is shown, only (blank). The column is of type Text, format Text. And it's completely empty. 

On the SharePoint side, it's populated. 

There is howerver a strange occurance, when I let's say add a table or a filter to PowerBi and use the buggy column, 2 choices appear, a blank one and [List].
