SharePoint list credentials: "The request was aborted: The connection was closed unexpectedly."

Hello,

I am currently trying to enable scheduled refreshes for a dataset that comes from a SharePoint list. I'm working with a site that is a part of a larger organization, but I have full permissions on this specific site. I knew that the credentials were an issue, so I went to PowerBI Desktop to establish the connection with the correct credentials. I attempeted to sign into my Microsoft account to establish this link. I received this error: "The request was aborted: The connection was closed unexpectedly."

I do not know where this issue is coming from. Is there a setting I need to enable or anything of that sort? The error pops up when I click the sign in button.
