SharePoint date data to tabular date hierarchy

Hello,

I have a PBI report receiving data from a SharePoint list that manages our internal meetings. Someone in leadership doesn't like the default view of the Topic name followed by the 3 or 4 meeting dates, like this table:

TopicMeeting 1Meeting 2Meeting 3Meeting 4
Topic A1/1/20252/1/2025 2/28/2025
Topic B3/1/20254/1/2025 6/1/2025
Topic C1/1/20252/1/2025 2/28/2025
Topic D2/1/20252/28/20253/1/20254/1/2025

She wants to see  it by date, meeting, topic, like this:

Meeting dateType meetingTopic
1/1/2025Meeting 1Topic A
1/1/2025Meeting 1Topic C
2/1/2025Meeting 1Topic D
2/1/2025Meeting 2Topic A
2/1/2025Meeting 2Topic C
2/28/2025Meeting 4Topic A
2/28/2025Meeting 4Topic C
2/28/2025Meeting 2Topic D
3/1/2025Meeting 1Topic B
3/1/2025Meeting 3Topic D
4/1/2025Meeting 2Topic B
4/1/2025Meeting 4Topic D
6/1/2025Meeting 4Topic B

Is there a way to do this in BI?

Thanks!

Yes. In Power Query you will want to UNPIVOT the data. In Power Query, highlight the four Meeting columns, then click UNPIVOT and select "Unpivot columns".

If you think you might get additinal columns down the road, select the FIRST column and do "Unpivot Other Columns"

Hope that helps
