SharePoint List Multiple persons in single row

Hi,

I am using Sharepoint to track projects. Some of these projects have muliple people assigned and hence have a column whereby you can add multiple people seperated by a semi colon.

When I connect to the list, I see the 'Records' for ModifiedBy etc and can expand these accordingly (which is great) using the double arrows at the top (in Editor). The multiple persons column is showing as a 'Table' in PowerBi and hence if I expand them, they show as their own row, which I do not want.

Essentially I wish to report on various numbers, such as total savings of each project, but expanding them out as seperate line items means that I will be double and tripple counting in most cases.

Hi @InterSimi,

What do you expect? Maybe you can try to convert them with the functions below.

I had expected them to be added to the row in a similar fashion to how they were added to Sharepoint, i.e.

surname1; surname2; surname3

Not in their own row, with the financial numbers duplicated.

I will try the pivot options, thanks

Did this work for you because I'm trying to solve this issue myself
