• Q: How can I open multiple panes at once?
  • A: You can CTRL + click or right click on the unselected pane you wish to open and choose "Open in new pane"
• Q: Where did aggregations move to?
  • A: It's still on right click of a field, or you can use the new flyout aggregations dropdown while choosing or swapping a field.
• Q: Where did drillthrough and tooltip page setup move to?
  • A: Drillthrough is now in the page settings of the format pane under Page Information > Page type > Drillthrough or Tooltip.

I find it very useful because I can choose where to open the column and measure selection, and quickly turn on or off formatting options, like the title.

I can configure the visual from the on-object feature or in the classic way.

But what's annoying is that MS turned off the ability to enlarge the column and measure picker:

Now it's very difficult finding the correct columns or measure with ling names.

This feature was there but it disappeared a few months ago.

This is a pity.

But the possibility to open the settings from the bottom-right corner or PBI desktop, instead form the ribbon, is great.

Everytime I add a new field to the field data well for a visual, this thing pops up, taking up a huge amount of space. It's very annoying, and if I click out of that visual for any reason, the moment I go back to it and make another change, that annoying thing pops up again. I don't want more noise on my screen - if it only popped up when I clicked on it, then that would be fine. Overall I do not like this feature at all.

You maked disapear to have simoustaniuly all the visualizatio/Data/Filters and others? Why?

Do you want me to go and start using TABLEAU? What wrong with you?

The drill-through active filter is now invisible? When the On-object interaction is ON, it seems impossible to clear the filter. I had to turn off the On-object interaction all together.

Please add a option in settings to disable the "suggest a visual" popup (without having to completely turn on object interactions off), it is blood-boiling levels of irritating, thank you.

It is confusing that a lot of the buttons have the enabled border around them, even when I am not using them. E.g. the Bookmarks button.

Hi,

The side panel is very useful, small & with the single click open & close but it would be great if the filter pane could be added as well, as this isn't needed all the time, it wastes space, but is needed consistantly as the other objects in the panel do.
The suggest a visual pop up on charts, however, is insanely irritating and gets in the way constantly. It can be useful but it would be better suited out of the way on one of the tabs or a side add on, so it doesn't interupt other work.
If people find the suggestion pop-up useful on the chart and want to keep it, please, please, please, have something in the options, so you can use one and not the other.

This is a huge improvement to Power BI. Makes it much easier to customize visuals.

I noticed a change in the feature.

Until now, it was possible to enlarge the list of fields to accommodate long fields or measures.

This is no longer possible.

Why has this essential feature been removed?

Now it is cumbersome and slow to work with.

Please reactivate this feature.

I am so annoyed that this feature has been in preview limbo for 2 years and not much has changed.

Either release in in GA or scrap it. What could be taking so long. 

I love the feature btw. Really usefull especially for new users, but I wont' teach my students (new users often) it because the feature might be scrapped.

The whole power bi team has been unable to finish anything for the last years. Everything is in preview. What we actually got. Field parameters after 4 years in preview.

If it isnt called copilot (that like 10% of all users can actually use) - Microsoft leadership does not care.

The pop-up is often in the way.  Panes on the right seem to appear and disappear unexpectedly.  I tried to get used to this, but it's slowing me down too much; I'm turning it off.

BTW, I've taught Power BI to a lot of people.  I've never heard anyone say it's hard to use or they can't find basic things like the panes on the right.

With the bar at the top of each visual, I cannot easily position the visual where it needs to go. This is particularly annoying for text boxes that need to be at the top of the screen.

Hello.
I LOVE the right column that allows switching between panels, and I would have a hard time doing without it.
However, I HATE the interaction PopUp on the object! Why on earth this behavior? Why not just have buttons without PopUp? And above all, why link them? You need to separate these two features because they have absolutely nothing to do with each other, or at least allow disabling that cursed pop-up!

It seems the ability to resize a group of report objects while maintaining their relative order and size is not possible with On-object editing mode, or am I missing something?

Tried it for 30 minutes just recently, turned it straight back off again.

It looks like the ability to summarized by % or grand total / row total is missing.  That would be a feature I would like to see added back.

That feature is there, but it's not under the Data Options button. You have to right-click on the field in the field well.

Largely I find On-Object Interaction a really annoying and unnecessary feature.

It creates extra clicks without added value, on small laptop screens, which many of my students use, the extra fly-out panels duplicate already visible features and take up valuable screen space, and it adds a level of extra complexity for no reason that I can discern. Often, when I am teaching courses on Power BI, the students get irritated with it, complain and I have to show them how to turn the feature off, or risk it depressing my evaluation scores.

Perhaps I am missing the point, but I'm afraid I can't see anything positive about this feature at all. Please, please don't make it permanent!

If I import the Deneb Visual.  I am not getting Any options to Customise the Visual now.
