Community AdminShare your thoughts on the New Power Query experience in Power BI Desktop (Preview)
I wanted to switch to the new interface, but after doing so I lost access to a significant portion of my data.
At work, we use an OPDC connection. When the data selection window opens in the new interface, I can only see 22 of the 32 available folders. In addition, some of the folders that are visible do not contain all of their expected content.
A colleague of mine updated Power BI today (2 July 2026) and is able to see all 32 folders without any issues.
When I switch back to the old interface, all 32 folders and their contents are visible again. This suggests there may be an issue with the new interface when accessing data.
I would appreciate it if you could investigate this behavior.

Would you mind sharing more about where exactly you're seeing the 22? Is this within the navigator view? What is the connector / data source that you're selecting?
