Share reports with colleagues - classified data

Hi

I want to share the report with my colleagues (5-6 of them), and as far as I can see it has a cost of USD 9.99 pr user/month.

1. Is this correct?
2. Do we need additional subscriptions, like office 365, or sharepoint?

3. Is our data 100% safe so that no one else can see the data?

I want them to open reports both on mobile phones, iPad and computers.

1. Yes, you are right.

Currently, we always purchasing Power BI Pro through Office 365 Admin Center.

For more details, you could have a reference of this article.

2. You should subscribe the tools based on your work needs. If you don't need others, you could only purchase Power BI Pro under the Other Plans.

Reference:

Share your work

3. It's hard for us to guarantee the data 100% safe, because there are some uncontrollable factors.

Actually, The data should be safe.  Such as if you share a dashboard to someone in accident , you could cancle the access immediately.

However, you should note the Publish to web which is not very safe. When you use Publish to web, the report or visual you publish can be viewed by anyone on the Internet. There is no authentication used when viewing these reports.

Besides, you could have a look at Power BI Security.

Dear Cherry

Thank you. I understand from this that I can share reports with colleagues without "Publising to Web", and by doing this our data will be safe and only available for those who are verified by user/email?

If you do not use publish to web, the reports are only shared to those who have either had it shared directly or are members of the workspace the report is published in.

If you want even more control on a user by user basis within a report you should look into implementing Row Level Security (RLS) in your report

Thank you all for great info!
