Share App using Audience pages

Hi there, I've created an App to house a suite of reports that I'm going to be sharing with 3 groups of users. Some users will be in all 3 groups. I've used the Audience function to group the reports - but my question is how do I share a link that takes a user to the correct tab within the App? Each time I try the link succeeds in taking me to the report in the 'ALL' section of the app that is at the top of the section I am trying to navigate to. As I have the three audiences I have 'All' and then the other 3 groups at the top left to move between - but I'd like to be able to include a link to one of the specific tabs on a Sharepoint Site. Is this possible?

  • Hello nicS1981 ,

the link is the same for all, the thing is that when you specified the audience, people in specific section that you specified will only see the section you gave them access to not the All one.

so it's the same link for everyone but every user sees the one that you specified in a specific audience.

Thanks so much for the response. Understood. Although I do think its a bit of a failing. I have users that will likely be in two of the audience groups, and as we all know some end users aren't always savvy enough to understand the sections within an app that makes their viewing easier.

All good - I'll proceed on that basis
