Sharable Live Power Bi Dashboard With excel file raw data located in One drive.

I Have some raw data in an excel file located in One drive which gets updated every day by the local DEO. I have made a power bi dashboard using that data. If the excel file updates that data will also update so the dashboard in my power bi. That report needs to be available to all authorized people on a daily basis. how to share the file so that updated changes will be available to them on their desktop Power Bi.

You don't need to make a report again, for excel data sources from onedrive, you can set up a scheduled refresh of this data set in the Power BI service.

Power BI checks about once an hour if the dataset needs to be synchronized for files connected to OneDrive or SharePoint Online.

Also for visuals in dashborad, pay attention to where it comes from (live page or pin a visual).

So do i need to make the same report on the online platform of Power BI?

On Power BI desktop application, the report consumer would need the report pbix file.  In your case, a better way to consume the report is via Power BI Service (the on line version of Power BI). But you all need proper licenses.
