Hi, I am using Shape map. I want to show all cities in particular country in map. Suppose I select 1 city then it shows that country not particular area of that city.Means I want to show city wise detail in Shape map.

Hi @monikapatil - The Shape Map in Power BI works primarily with map shapes defined in GeoJSON files or built-in geographic boundaries such as countries, states, and provinces. If you want to show city-wise details or focus on a specific area within a country, you need to configure your map appropriately.
The default Shape Map in Power BI doesn't support granular city-level boundaries. To add city-level details:Obtain or create a GeoJSON file with city-level polygons.
geojson.io | powered by Mapbox
Shape Map visualizations are static in terms of the boundaries provided in GeoJSON files.
If you don't have city polygons in the GeoJSON, the map will only display broader boundaries like countries or states.
If Shape Map isn't meeting your needs:
Use ArcGIS for Power BI:
ArcGIS provides more flexibility and supports precise city-level mapping and geocoding.
Switch to Map Visuals:
Consider the Map or Filled Map visuals in Power BI, which use Bing Maps and can geocode city names directly.
