Shape map - fill colours, not working on legend

Hi all, can anyone suggest to me why my shape map isn't working as it should be? I've done others this way and not had any issues, but wonder if I'm missing something obvious? I have a text column called "Category" which currently has three things I want to display in three different colours. I've put a location in the location field, and the Category column in the Legend field. The map is displaying the same colour for all three categories, and only changes when I change the first option "less than 10%", even though the other categories definitely are in use in the data. A couple of screen shots:

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi - no, putting it in colour saturation provides a gradient of colours. Because this is categorical data I just want three colours.

I don't think (from memory) that this works unless you have some aggregation in the Color Saturation field well.

Thank you, I knew it must be something simple, but I thought I'd tried that already! I put the same category field in both wells and then it works as I expected it to - duh! Thanks for your help!

Hi @JennaExe - I have made a sample data and plot it into a shape map.
To get the color you have to plot values into color saturation. can you add category in color saturation.

Check it, let us know

Hi @JennaExe - So, have you multiple the category field with percentages.

can you please check once, otherwise  if possible share some dummy data it helps us to analyse

No, it's okay, I have the solution now - because it's categorical/text data, not numbers - I just needed to put my category field into both the legend well and the colour saturation well at the same time, and it's working as it should. Thanks for trying to help though!
