Hello,
I would like to create a shape map with precise data points on it for example - mapping precises lattitudinal and longitudinal points to show geographic precesion. Could someone guide me on how to do this?

If you click on another Visual, the map will redisplay as a world map.
This is the auto zoom function.
You can close it in Map controls setting.
The result like this,

Just wanted to understand if you want to use only Shape Map visual, because this visual doesn't allow you to use Latitude and Longitude. It only allows a Location.
You can try using other map visuals like Azure Map:

thanks for your response Pragati! I checked out Azure maps but it seems to give me the map of the entire world. I would like only the map of France to appear without the need to zoom in. Do you know how I can do that?

I have created my desired result in paint. The green circles correspond to the amount of employment created in a particular region of France. I would like to have the same result in Power BI. Thanks!
