Setting Today's Date as the Default End Date in the Date Slicer

Is there any way to have the date slicers auto default the end/to date, highlighted below, to be today's (the date the report is opened) date?

Can you try this?

Write the below measure with your date column and use it in visual level filter as done in the below image,

Date restriction to today = 
IF(MAX('Dim Date'[Date])<=TODAY(),1,0)
