Set the selected time range in slicer

Question

Hello,&nbsp;I have a time range slicer in the report, binding to a Datetime column in the data source. Is it possible to have some helper buttons to change the selected time range in the slicer? Like this:&nbsp;I know there is a built-in "relative date/time" style. Is it possible to keep the "between" style so that we can see the data, and just set the selected values dynamically?&nbsp;Thank you!

parry2k&nbsp;Thanks for the info. Not sure if I missed anything in the article, is there a way for this kind of Time Intelligence table to work with a "between" date slicer?&nbsp;

Anonymous&nbsp;so you will have this extra table will filter your date table. Solution should work to meet your expectations.

parry2k&nbsp;I am playing with the example posted in the article. A chart and a slicer based on the date column in the filtered table are added to the report. When the period selection is changed, I can see the chart axis is changed with it correctly, but the slicer always shows the whole time range. My assumption is since this slicer is a filter for the date, it overrides the filter the Time Intelligence table applies to the data source. How can I change the selected range in it based on the selected period?&nbsp;The chart axis is changed to two months, the slicer is not:I was expecting something like this:&nbsp;

Hi Anonymous&nbsp;,
According to your description, it seems that you want to use one slicer to control another date slicer's range, right? I am not sure whether this could be achieved. As I know, we need to use column in slicer, but slicer can't affect calculated column. So I think this might not be achieved.
