uasarkar ,
You can use ODBC connector in desktop and add the service now data source to DSN, for more details, please refer to: https://www.cdata.com/kb/tech/servicenow-odbc-power-bi.rst
Do whitelist the port in firewall rules which is necessary and configure the gateway.

Hey Jimmy,
This is 3rd part toll for connecting to Service Now. What I want is to use the solution/designed method to connect to https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/getdata/services/servicenow and thereafter giving me the option to connect to Service now which apparently worked for 1st time and now it's not populating.

Following your post. since i am also in need to report KPIs from Servicenow on Power BI. However the ODBC connector mentioned above is not free. I am looking for free connector or some other way to connect to Service now from Power BI.

Hi, I also have same requirement, and i used ServiceNow ODBC but its showing below error while connecting.
Details: "ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [SN][ODBC ServiceNow driver][OpenAccess SDK SQL Engine]Cannot create schema.Cannot retrieve a DB schema. Please run <instance>?SCHEMA in your browser and try again. Also make sure that the table descriptor cache can hold all your tables and DB views. You can check the table descriptor stats runing <instance>/xmlstats.do in your browser.[1050]"
Request for your assistance.
Also, is there also way to connect via API. If yes, how.

Have you tried this?
I am doing it and see the entire Service Now Schema. Follow the instructions and there is a video at the very start of the article that explains what you need.
