Service Now ODBC or Rest APIs
Greetings all, I am very new to PowerBi and how to retrieve data that PowerBi doesnt provide out of the box 🙂
My goal is to use PoweBi to retrieve data from ServiceNow. I have been able to use the ODBC connector and retrieve tables but the one that I am having issues with is retrieving from is the INCIDENT table. It seems to be very large and take a long time to retrieve. What is another method to retrieve data from this table? I am very new to PowerBi, and do not have any experience with RESTApis and other advanced methoids but am very willing to learn. Can anyone please assist me and or point me in the right direction starting at a new user understanding please?
I have found that there are multiple ways to get data from ServiceNow
ODBC Connector: Currently able to pull in small tables and works 100%
A RESTAPI: dont understand how to use this

The ODBC connector in that link will not work unless you pay for it, the method i mentioned is a FREE ODBC connector.
The other link provided has been removed by Microsoft and is no longer available hence why i am asking for other methods to get the data.
This did not answer my questions Sorry.
