I havent been able to find an answer about this. I have made a number of reports that use the 'mobile' layout and I like it, as do the poeople who use them. I have made some new reports that are much more comprehensive and newly optimized for our business. However, I dont want to use a 10 column and 4 level matrix in mobile layout, becuase you cant see any of the values. I would also like to exclude a lot of the slicers and provide more of a 'summary' view in the mobile layout.
Can I default Mobile to open a different tab to use as a landing page? Can I add other visuals that are hidden and use only those on the 'mobile' layout? Can the mobile layout and the app version have different visuals?
thanks in advance.
I was able to find a type of workaround. I duplicated my visuals, then modified them for the mobile layout on the copy, then sent the visual to the "back" so it sits behind the other visuals on dektop and can not be seen. Then I use the modified copy of the visual to put in the mobile layout.
Really ingenious idea, did not think about it at all. Thanks!
