Separate tooltip for each column in a Power BI table

Hi All,

I have a requirement to create different tooltip for each column in a table visual of power BI.

for example: The below 1st screenshot is sample table & in that I need to create separate tooltip for each coloured box column (i,e) Overall column holds a tooltip field whereas financial holds another tooltip field.

Like in below screenshot "Financial" column holding Financial comments in their tooltip.

Whereas "Resource" column is holding Staff Resource comments in their tooltip.

Any suggestion or workaround to acheive this report.Also please suggest whether we can acheive this using DAX. Thanks in advance.

@Anonymous , I doubt that we can customize tooltip based on a column.

Report page tooltip is customized tooptip & as far as I know we can add only 1 tooltip for a table & not mutliple tooltip for a single if so can u pls explain in detail how to acheive on adding multiple tooltips for same table.

Hi @Anonymous ，

Based on my research, Power BI does not support this feature(create multiple custom tooltip pages for the table visual base on different fields) currently. You can raise a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming soon. And the following one is one similar idea shared on Power BI Ideas, you can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature.
