Semantic model unable to connect

Hi Team,

I am attempting to share a semantic model with other users in my organisation, I have allowed them build and read permissions. They need access to this so they can use our datasource and combine with others of theirs to create dashboards and visuals. If I manage permisisons I see this:

When they attempt to access the model, they are getting an error message like below:

We are unsure what the issue is, have I shared the model incorrectly or is it a powerbi version issue? Any help would be appreciated.

You need to share via the app, not via the workspace.

They need to "install"  the app (click on the app link once) before they can see the semantic model.
