Selectively choose which date fields to create hiearchy

I have a dataset with many date fields, so to improve performance i turn off the auto date time hiearchy. However, I want to still have the option of using the auto hiearchy for certain fields, is it possible?

Otherwise it is very repetitive to go through only a small number of dates and add in year month quarter etc columns every time I add in a dataset.

Such a requirement that using the auto hierarchy for certain fields is not supported by now.
