Selected value unstable (sometimes returns 'BLANK' for no reason)

Hello, I have a problem with US electoral votes... when I click on Alabama, I have 0 votes for Democrats, which is OK :

When I click on Arizona, I have a blank (!) :

... and when I click on California, I have 55 (as expected) :

Why would such a problem occur ? I check my database many times...

Louis

Hello Michael,

It seems I have a more fundamental problem... see, when I click on Nebraska, in 2020, for example, it should display 39.2% in favor of Democrats. For some reasons, I can only display Min, Max, Average, Count... but not the 2020 value. Something is not right here. Maybe it is in my modeling...

Hi @Louis66,

what is your expected result? The first thing which comes in ym mind is that in your data model The Row for Arizona (Dimension table) does not match a value in your fact table (votes).

What is your expected result for Arizona and what does your measure look like?

If the expceted result is zero a solution could be that you put behind your formul "+ 0". But this only makes sense in specific constellations.

Can you please share your data model and the measures you are using in your chart?

Best regards

Michael

Hello Michael,

My expected was 11 for Arizona :

26 out of States are OK, the other 24 show 'Blank'.
