Selected value function in PBI Report Builder
Hi All,
How to convert the below dax to PBI report builder code.
Actual DAX Expression:
Calculate(sum(sales),filter(all(table),table[year]=selectedvalue(parameter[year])
Expected:
Report Builder Expression
In above dax code year is a parameter created in paginated report.
Expression will return total sales of year parameter selected in the report.

Hi prakash11440278 ,
In my opinion, this should be okay. Then if not, you can create a Power bi dataset and connect to a Power bi dataset to achieve the same effect.

Hi prakash11440278 ,
In Report Builder you can try this to summarize and create a new report.
EVALUATE SUMMARIZECOLUMNS( DimCLient[ClientName] ,DimVehicle[Make] ,DimVehicle[Model] ,FILTER(VALUES(DimVehicle[Color]), DimVehicle[Color] = @Colour) ,"Sales", SUM(FactSales[SalePrice]) )For more information you can refer to the following link.

Anonymous Thanks for your reply.
I am not using SQL DB or PBI Dataset as a source, i am using enter data as a source. I entered the data as a source. Is it possible to do the same in enter data as a source?
