Say my slicer has many values checked, and I need to check only one.
I need to "unselect all" with upper button, then select the one I want. This requires two clicks, and two page refreshes instead of one, which may be time and resource-consuming if user machine is slow or page has multiple heavy visuals/queries.
Moreover, if I want to select slicer values one after the other, I have to uncheck current value, then check the next one. This results again in two clicks, and two page refreshes.
Google Data Studio for example adresses this : when you hover over a slicer value, a clickable "ONLY" tooltip appears. When you click it, the entry is checked, and others are unchecked, resulting in a single click, and a single page refresh for the same result.

Hi @DavidPROVOST ,
I might be oversimplifying your requirements here, but have you tried selecting the slicer and changing the Selection controls to "Multi-select with CTRL"?

@DavidPROVOST , not very clear. By default slicer select single value without ctrl. You need to enable select all option
